Jerry Sandusky Sex Abuse Claims Reach $93 Million

PennsylvaniaAuditors with Deloitte & Touche LLP in Philadelphia have revealed that Penn State has paid $93 million in sex abuse civil settlements to some 32 victims of former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky.

Sandusky, who remains in prison serving between 30 to 60 years for 45 counts of sexual abuse, is appealing the convictions.

At this time, it is not known how many, if any, civil claims against the school remain active or have not been filed.
