Former Utah Boy Scout Leader Suspected of Sexually Abusing More Boys

Michael Alan JordanUtah law enforcement officials are asking the public’s help in determining if Michael Alan Jordan, 34 has sexually abused more boys than the ones who have already come forward.

Presently, Jordan, a former Utah Boy Scout leader is facing 19 felony counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, sodomy on a child, forcible sodomy, sexual exploitation of a minor and dealing in harmful materials to minors.
Jordan is being held in the Salt Lake County Jail on a $500,007 warrant.

According to the local Fox New affiliate, “According to the release, Jordan was a leader in the Boy Scouts of America organization from 2010-14 and an active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in areas of West Valley City and Taylorsville. . . Police are concerned there could be more victims that have not come forward. The release states Jordan had a history of threatening victims with disclosure or publication of graphic details to keep them quiet.”
