Former Oregon High School Coach Arrested for Sexually Abusing a Student

SchuppertRobert Schuppert Jr., a 30-year-old former assistant coach at Forest Grove High School, was arrested last week on charges that he abused a student at the school. A four month police investigation culminated in the arrest of Schuppert.

Schuppert faces two counts of second-degree sexual abuse, luring a minor and tampering with physical evidence. A grand jury indicted Schuppert on the charges Wednesday, Aug. 27. He was taken into custody two days later.

Police are continuing their investigation in order to determine if other students have been sexually abused. The Forest Grove Police Department wants to hear from anyone who may have information about Schuppert’s actions while he was a coach at the high school.
