Former Massachusetts Home for Children CFO and Boy Scout Volunteer Faces Sex Abuse Allegations

6982694_GA former Chief Financial Officer of the Italian Home for Children in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts faces sexual abuse allegations from a man who claims he was abused as a child when he lived in the children’s home.

George Forte, Jr. resigned from the Italian Home for Children in November 2014, after the accusing victim came forward to state that Forte had abused him for three years, starting when he was approximately 6 years old.
In addition to his role as CFO, Forte volunteered with the local Boy Scouts of America in 2013, according to a local news affiliate.

The victim, now an adult, contacted local law enforcement authorities concerning the allegations. At this time, it is unclear if criminal charges will be brought against Forte.
